This exquisite Heirloom French Handsewn Christening Gown and Slip ensemble is in museum-quality condition. There are no holes or stains. This gown and slip are in exquisite condition. The fabric appears to be a very fine high quality cotton. A gown and slip like this would cost well into the thousands to re-create. This gown ensemble is a rare find and one -of-a-kind item - it is absolutely stunning!

Gown & Slip Features:

The neck has gathered lace. The round yoke features lace insertion and pin tucks with a pin tucked and lace edging ruffle. The gown buttons from the back neck to the hem with MOP buttons. The sleeves have a band and lace edging. Both the slip and the gown have pin tucks and lace edging at the bottom of the skirt and a pin tucked ruffle with lace edging. The slip buttons on both shoulder and the back yoke buttons with MOP buttons. The skirt of the slip has been meticulously hand gathered as shown in photo.
